If you and your GP decide that you should be referred for possible surgery, you have the right to choose where you go for treatment with the NHS. Care UK hospitals can accept referrals from any eligible patient in need of the treatments we offer.
Your GP will send the referral to Devon Referral Support Service (DRSS), who will ask you to telephone them to discuss your choice of hospital. The staff will be able help you make an informed choice about the hospitals available. They can give information about waiting times, clinical outcomes and Care Quality Commission (CQC) ratings. You may also like to consult the NHS Choices website for this information.
