A message from Mark White, Hospital Director

I hope you and your loved ones are keeping well in these unusual times. As you may be aware, NHS England is currently using our Treatment Centre for extra capacity, to help ease the pressures on the NHS as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic and our team is doing all it can to support them.

However, If you had started the process of having treatment with us before the pandemic took hold, we are also extremely conscious of the difficulties you may be facing as a result of the delay to your treatment. Please know that we are all thinking of you and look forward to welcoming you at our hospital when the time comes to do so.

Whilst we are not yet in a position to be re-opening the Treatment Centre for our own patients, please be assured that we will be doing our utmost to get through the impact of this pandemic and to re-open at the earliest opportunity. We will be in contact to book your appointment as soon as we are able.

As you know we pride ourselves on the cleanliness of our hospital and are already working on ways to ensure that our outstanding record of cleanliness and low infection rates is maintained. We want you to have every confidence in coming to see us when the time is right and patient safety will continue to be our number one priority.

We will of course update you on the latest news and information via regular patient newsletters and you can ‘like’ our page on Facebook too if you haven’t already.

From all of the staff at Peninsula NHS Treatment Centre, please stay safe and healthy during this difficult time, and follow all Government advice that is given.

We look forward to welcoming you back to the Treatment Centre in the near future.
